Made for another world

"If I discover within myself a desire which no experience in the world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." C. S. Lewis

Spring Rose

Glossy arms reaching sun-ward, welcoming the day.

Rosey cheeks kissed with dew drops, smile and sway.

Tender neck now unfurling, green and slender, nods.

Greeting morning with her beauty, crimson petals besot.

Sleepy head, silence wraps her in a warm embrace.

Golden rays fall on folded arms and down turned face.

Perfume drifting upward from her golden heart,

She bids goodnight, Rose has christened springs start.
