The Love of God

I've started reading an amazing little book recently. It's a compilation of Oswald Chamber's writings under the title "The Love of God". His working definition of love says, "Love is the sovereign preference of my person for another person, embracing everyone and everything in that preference." His insight and thoughts on the way God embraces us and the universe in his love are eye opening. If you can get your hands on a copy, I highly recommend it!
