Today is my Mom's birthday and I'm so thankful for the gift of her in my life! 3 John 4 "I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children live in the truth." That has been her standard in raising the three of us children. A goal that is worthy and valuable is often challenging and not without cost. Homeschooling three kids, disciplining, loving is hard work. I know now from personal experience that sacrifice is the standard of motherhood. That's as it should be, our Great Parent didn't spare himself sacrifice in his own parental love for us, why should we expect the cost to be less for us in parenting. So today I say thank you Mom! I count it an amazing act of God's mercy and grace in my life to give me so generous a gift as to be born into a loving, godly family with you as my mother! Happy birthday, and I certainly wish you many more!
Oh My, you certainly know how to make a girl cry. Thank you for my birthday wishes. It has been a good day; breakfast in bed with others sharing my bed (not my food). It is amazing to be awakened by smiling faces with offerings of food loving prepared and gifts. It makes unwelcomed birthdays not so bad. Good news that one of our little ones is fine. Loving words written by one of my Beloveds, and the promise of an evening out with my life's partner. It just doesn't get any better than this. I am amazed at the blessings showered on me and am oh so grateful. Thank you for being one of my favorite blessings. And as always; I know God loves me because he gave me you, all of you. Thank you, God for amazing gifts and the awesome opportunity to live and love them.
